Polymer-dispersed liquid crystal automated quantification system for vision through polymer-dispersed double-glazed windows: Circuit implementation (PDLC)-windows played an essential role in providing a visual comfort occupants commercial buildings recently. PDLC windows adjust the visible transparency of glazing to control daylight accessed internal environments. A former study proposed algorithm quantify terms image contrast. The determines minimum level that maintains comfortable window. This introduced real-time achieves process. Firstly, on-chip was utilised realise algorithm, including contrast estimation. Secondly, determination action re-implemented using MATLAB, Cortex-A9 microcontroller, and Cyclone V field programmable gate array array-chip. implemented systems were evaluated based on latency, throughput, power consumption, cost.
